After a total upgrade the Aasted Nielsen cooling tunnels come with technical improvements that make it a user-friendly and energy efficient solution.
The new generation of Nielsen cooling tunnels has been presented during ProSweets 2016 in Cologne. The cooling tunnels have been reengineered with a focus on simple and clean design - and due to remarkable flexible airflow the result is an environmentally friendly and energy efficient solution.
The system comes with a specialised cooling system, re-circulation fan and evaporator work to reduce the tunnel humidity by transforming moisture into dry air, guaranteeing perfect crystallisation and cooling.
Ensure the highest possible degree of hygiene: All air guiding plates, supporting plates for belt, shafts and rollers can be removed from the cooling tunnel without use of tools. Any parts of the tunnel can easily be cleaned.
The supports for the belt, all rollers and gas cylinders are combined in one strong bracket designed for easy cleaning (1). The driving terminal is mounted with a large drive drum for stable drive and belt control (2). Main electrical cabinets are placed along the length of the tunnel for easy service access (3). The blowers are hinged for easy access of the energy section and cooling elements (4).
Aasted's Nielsen cooling tunnels come in stainless steel and aluminium versions. The cooling tunnels range up to 2'600 mm and can be supplied in many executions with direct and indirect cooling.
